North East Dash 5K Race Description

The North East Dash is the first 5K Run/Walk held in North East, MD. The event will benefit our local law enforcement officials and Shop With a Cop. Shop With a Cop is an annual event where Law Enforcement Officers from Cecil County pair up with children of the county who might need a little help at Christmas and go shopping.

Not only is this program a wonderful effort to break down barriers between the community and police, it also provides joy to children and families at Christmas time. There aren't many things that are more beautiful than a child's smile at Christmas, and not many things are more important than showing those who care for and protect us that they have our support and appreciation! All proceeds from the 5K will be donated to Cecil County Law enforcement.
