ML5K Race Description

The annual ML5K Race is brought to you by the Graduate Student Association at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga as part of our effort to create sustainable programs that provide opportunities to connect graduate students across disciplines, campuses, and communities. The race will be a celebration of graduate students and the Chattanooga community. All proceeds from the race AND RACE ENTRY FEES will go directly towards funding scholarships for graduate students at UTC. To end out our Graduate Student Appreciation Week, the 5K will be on April 6, 2019 at 10 a.m.

The race will start and finish near Heritage Plaza outside of UTC's University Center. Registration is $30. UTC students, staff, and alumni will receive a $5 discount. Please enter UTC5OFF for the promo code. Must show UTC ID or Alumni code when you pick up your packet to verify. 

15% off will automatically be applied for 4 or more people registering together. 

Registration price includes a Swag Bag with a t-shirt, UTC/local business promotional items, coupons for local businesses/restaurants, and more!

Packet pick-up will be held on Friday, April 5th from 3:30p.m. to 7:00p.m. at Oddstory Brewing Company in Chattanooga. Swag bags, bibs, and parking information will be available for pick up. You can also pick up your packet on race day beginning at 7:00 a.m.

Finisher medals will be given to everyone at the race finish. Rewards will be given to the top male and female finishers.

Great Race

Start time was perfect for our family. This was the first race we ran as a family and had a blast. I loved being able to run with my 2 yr old in a stroller and having spectators encourage us along the way. Well organized and great location for after race activities. Look forward to running it again.
