Minneapolis Aruna Run Race Description
The Minneapolis Aruna Run is hosted by the Aruna Project, a US-based international human rights non-profit dedicated to freeing, employing, and empowering survivors of human trafficking. Thanks to the generosity of local race sponsors, 100% of race registration fees and additional donations go to bring and sustain freedom to women. Race giveaway items are hand-made by Aruna Artisans, freed from the brothels and employed in our Freedom Business thanks to funds raised in previous Aruna Runs. Every participant receives a race bib with the name of an enslaved woman printed on it- you run to help bring her freedom! #runforherfreedom
