Middle Finger 5K

The 4th Annual Middle Finger 5K run and fitness walk benefits Thrive To Survive. We listened to your feedback and are excited to offer a brand new course, that beautifully intertwines downtown Geneva and Lakefront Park. This year we will start at the Geneva Recreation Complex. The first half mile will take place in beautiful downtown Geneva, along Exchange Street, Castle, Linden, and Scott Lafaro Drive, through the new Solar Village to the gorgeous Lakefront Park. You will complete miles 1 and 2 along the shore of Seneca Lake and you will return to the Geneva Recreation Complex via the waterfront trail to finish the 5K and to enjoy some pancakes and bacon. Yes, we are bringing bacon back!!

The race is open to all ability levels. All fitness levels are encouraged to participate. Give a one-finger salute to cancer and help those in our region thrive through their diagnosis. 100% of proceeds go to Thrive To Survive and are used to provide necessary resources to adults living in Ontario, Seneca, Yates, Schuyler and Wayne counties and dealing with a cancer diagnosis. Registration includes the commemorative 2020 MF5K shirt, special prizes for those raising $100 or more, breakfast following the 5K, Check-in Party activities and most importantly, special satisfaction knowing you are making a difference for adults with cancer.

You can participate as an individual or as part of a team.  Want to have fun for less money! Start a friends and family team of 4 or more participants and receive a discounted entry. Create team shirts or wear costumes to make your presence known! Many teams organize special shirts, costumes and the like!  Let your creativity run wild.  In 2018, our largest team had 82 participants and hailed from Sodus, NY!  In 2019 that same team created some friendly competition, and eventually took the lead again with 100 members!! That's a lot of love.  Who will beat that in 2020?
