MARDET Association 9/11 Memorial Run

September 11, 2001 began a series of events that still ring throughout America and the rest of the world today. The run commemorates and honors those that were lost that day, and all those Americans that continue to sacrifice everything to ensure our great nation remains free from further tragic events.

The annual MARDET Association 9/11 event is an opportunity to bring the community together with our Armed Forces members and First Responders to show how united we still stand as a nation and run along side of one another and enjoy some time building relationships as a community.

This event will be kicked off by a few words by the MARDET Association Vice President followed by a Moment of Silence in tribute to all those that made the ultimate sacrifice. The Run/Walk will begin the festivities followed by an opportunity to come together as a community with food and live music provided by Eat. Drink. Love. in Ocean Springs. You will have the opportunity to meet and socialize with local first responders and military personnel in attendance. There will be a raffle drawing for a Custom Firepit by Oasis Outdoor Concepts after the run and all proceeds from the raffle will donated to local first responders.
