Race Description
Join us for our MAMA LUCHONA 5K and 14K trail run at the beautiful Griffith Park. MAMA LUCHONA 5K & 14K trail Run was created to celebrate all the amazing moms. As we all know moms have superpowers and do incredible and admirable work. This race is intended to inspire and motivate moms to run or walk a 5k or a 14k with other strong amazing moms (Mamás Luchonas).
Course Information
5k
A challenging and scenic 5k course starting from the Merry-Go-round parking lot area. 5k at Fern Canyon Trail head and will continue on to the Lower Old Zoo Trail to Mineral Wells Trail and will be coming back on the Upper Old Zoo Trail.
14K
A challenging and scenic out and back course from Marry-Go-Round to Mt Hollywood Dr. (View to the Hollywood Sign).

*Strollers are welcome to the race venue, but we don't recommend them on the trail race.
Dogs are welcome! Dogs must be on a leash.

I showed up at the venue nobody there. I walked it anyway it was beautiful. I had a good time. I missed the online registration. I was going to register at the bib pickup at the venue, but couldn’t make it so I was going to do registration on race day, which the site said was available. I assume if I had registered, I would’ve gotten an email about it being canceled but why can’t you just update your website, what’s up with that? I am so disappointed.
A month after the race was cancelled, they have not issued a refund. The event didn’t even bother to mention they would refund. I had to reach out. My comments on their event page get deleted. My emails have not been replied to. I don’t think I’ll ever support this event if they can even do the right thing.
