Madison Athletic Training Students' Association Khaki 5K Race Description

A fun 5K with a course running through the heart of historic downtown Harrisonburg, VA. Located at the the end of National Athletic Training Month, this race serves to raise awareness for the profession of athletic training and honor its important professionals. This year our honoree will be Nancy Burke, the first James Madison University graduate to enter the NATA Hall of Fame. This run is the primary fundraiser for the Madison Athletic Training Student Association (MATSA), in association with James Madison University (JMU) and its Sports Medicine department. MATSA aids in the enrichment of knowledge and the advancement of the athletic training profession for James Madison University students and community.
