Love Me Run Summary:
Some people like to debate the plausibility of love at first sight, but no one ever talks about love at first step. As a matchmaking 5K, Love Me Run is carving out its own niche by melding the ever-changing worlds of dating and fitness. It offers its participants the chance to literally move forward with their relationships instead of simply swiping them left or right.
Here's how Love Me Run events work:
Race prep: You'll have the opportunity to mingle with other participants prior to the race. Then, you'll be randomly matched with a fellow racer, who you'll get to know during the run. All told, you'll complete the 1K course five times with five different matches.
Running Zone: In this portion of the course, you and your "date" will find a comfortable pace and run side-by-side until you reach the next zone, which is the . . .
Speed Walking and Talking Zone: Absolutely no running is allowed in this zone—instead, you and your partner will chat, and prompters along the course will pop up to keep conversations moving.
After the Race: Following the race, you can re-connect with your favorite matches or meet new connections at the "Singles Mingle" after party.
