***Due to safety reasons, attendees wishing to participate with strollers will only be permitted to run or walk in the 5K race and must allow all other participants to start the race before them.***

After September 1st, you will still receive a shirt, but the size is not guaranteed.

***Children, 12 and under are invited to participate in the Lake Houston 1K Kid’s Run. If a parent or guardian would like to run with their child, they must pay the registration fee for the 1K Kid’s Run if they are not signed up for any other races.***

*With the runner fee each participant will receive a race bib and official race shirt.

*Online registration will only be available until Wednesday, September 18th, 2019. Late registration will be available at packet pickup sponsored by Lake Houston Family YMCA and on race day until 7 a.m.*

The course begins and ends at King's Harbor in Kingwood, is mostly shaded and boasts picturesque views of Lake Houston and the Kingwood area.

The sanctioned race offers a prize of $500 to the overall first place male and female runners in the 10K race and $250 to the overall first place male and female in the 5K race. Official race medals are awarded to first, second and third place male and female finishers in the following categories: 18 & under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and over 70.

Remember to bring the whole family! We've got something for everyone, including a Kid's Zone sponsored by CareNow Urgent Care - Kingwood!

We also need people to cheer on our runners to motivate them to finish the race, so come on out and support our runners!

Please be aware that every individual that attends this race MUST be at Kings Harbor BEFORE 6:30am as the roads will be closed at this time. You will not have any access into Kings Harbor at all after 6:30am.

**You may chose to come after this time for any race but cannot park in Kings Harbor, there is parking elsewhere outside of the race route.
