Labor Day Pump and Run Race Description

5k Pump and Run: 
Weigh-in and bench press Monday morning from 7 AM - 8 AM. All bench press competitors must complete their repetitions by 8 AM. Head outside to prepare for the 5k race to begin at 8:30 AM. Must complete 2 laps around the course (some road and some trail). 30 seconds per bench press repetition are deducted from your final 5k time to get your end result.  

1-Mile Walk
Walkers register between 7 AM - 8 AM in the Rec Center. Hand in your sponsorship form and money at this time. For every $30 you collect, we take 30 seconds off your ending walk time. (Time is just for fun, sponsorship totals earn the award.) Your walk begins immediately after the runners start at 8:30 AM. Please stay to the right side of the trail as the runners have 2 laps. 

Awards: 
Overall 5k Pump and Run winners in each age / gender categories are awarded a medallion 30 minutes after the completion of the race. The 1-Mile Walk participant earning the most sponsorship dollars receives a plaque. Enjoy the festivities while you wait for awards to begin. Every competitor receive a fashionable tote bag.
