Kaufman Halloween 5K Run/Walk

Showed up at race. No one was there. Another person called contact person for race and they said it would be late. She said sounded like he just woke up. So confusing. Some people had actually already paid. People said they had been advertising for months around town. I have done countless races and never have the race people not shown up! Unacceptable! I drove 30 mins to get there. I don’t understand why they would say it was gonna be late. There were no cones anywhere, no volunteers, no police. More people are typically at a race than the director. There were no signs anywhere that a race was even going to take place. If a race wasn’t going to happen this year why is it posted online? Why would you take peoples money? Kaufman parks and recreation need to get it together! I waited til almost 8 and then left. Ridiculous! Gave half a star only cause it wouldn’t post review otherwise. It’s definitely a 0.
