JWHS Colors For Cancer 5K

Please join us for the American Red Cross Run for the Red Run/Walk, At the Third Battle of Winchester! This will be a great fundraiser for the Red Cross! We plan to donate all profits to the American Red Cross, and we hope to raise a lot of money at this event! Please park at the Millbrook High School parking lot, which you will be directed into the event site at the school. 

*If you sign up after October 14th T shirts will ONLY be strictly distributed on a first come first serve basis, with specific sizes not guaranteed UNTIL SUPPLIES LAST.

Please join us for the Run for the Red 5K & 10K Run/Walk on Oct. 28th, 2017. This is a fun-filled family event featuring racing, awards,. All proceeds will benefit the programs provided by the American Red Cross that help support the community.

Event Schedule:

9:00-10:00 a.m.- Registration-Race packet pick up

10:00-11:30 a.m.- 5k Run/Walk Begins

11:45-12:15 a.m.- Awards Ceremony

Registration and T-shirt Details:

Race registration, start, and finish will take place at the designated location.

Free T-shirts are ONLY guaranteed to those who PRE-REGISTERED. Pre-Registration ends on Oct. 27th, 2017 at midnight.  Late registrants will receive t-shirts ONLY if available on the day of the event (no child sizes available).  Water is free to all participants and "Goodie bags."

Inclement Weather:

The American Red Cross will cancel the race in the event of severe inclement weather (tornados, flooding, thunderstorms).  The Red Cross will not provide refunds in the event that the race is cancelled.  Pre-registered individuals will still receive t-shirts.

What to wear:

Runners must wear their racing bibs at all times displayed on their chest for the duration of the entire race and until after the awards ceremony. Dress appropriately for the weather.

Special Rules and Disqualification:

Please take pictures and share this event with your friends! Runners must maintain their race bibs on their chest throughout the race until the awards ceremony finishes. Any participant who deviates from the course for any reason, receives assistance that would give them an unfair advantage over other racers or does not follow accepted guidelines, will be disqualified.
