Juliane's Compassion For Critters, The Fast and The Furriest Pet Fest

TOMBALL HIGH SCHOOL Saturday November 9 8am

Juliane had a giving spirit and was passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others. She was dedicated to opening her heart and home to many abandoned, sick, homeless, and injured animals with the ultimate goal of finding them loving and forever homes. Unfortunately, Juliane was taken from us too early. Help us celebrate Juliane's legacy and keep her memory alive by joining us in Juliane's Compassion for Critters  The Fast and the Furriest Pet Fest to raise money to benefit pets in need, a reflection of what was near and dear to her heart.  

Juliane's Compassion for Critters, The Fast and the Furriest Pet Fest  is a great day of family fun. Walk the 1 mile by yourself or with friends, family, and/ or furry companion. Stay after the walk and enter to win one of the many fabulous baskets full of prizes, enjoy fun activities for the kids, exhibitor booths, cool crafts, yummy bake sale, have a bite to eat and more fun stuff! This year we have added a dog costume contest! There will be prizes awarded in various categories (see below for more details) Last year was a blast! We promise this year will be even better!! All money raised through registrations, donations,merchandise sales and purchases the day of the event will go to Texas Animal Society to continue Juliane's mission of helping animals in need get the care and loving homes they deserve.

EVENT WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE   PRICES ARE ALL INCLUSIVE. YOU MAY WALK THE MILE BY YOURSELF OR WITH YOUR DOG AND/OR ENTER YOUR DOG IN THE DOG COSTUME CONTEST.....YOU CAN CHOOSE THAT DAY WHICH EVENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN!

Prices until 10/13/19(INCLUDES T SHIRT AND BANDANA FOR YOUR DOG):

Adult 1 mile walk and/or ONE entry into dog costume contest: $25  Extra dog entry $10

Youth (6-12) 1 mile walk only: $15 (you must be 13+ to enter a dog in the contest)

Children 5 and under free; No t shirt (youth t shirts are available for purchase for $10 before 10/17)

Prices from 10/14/19- 11/7/19 (DOES NOT INCLUDE A T SHIRT.  BANDANAS ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY)

WALK UP REGISTRATION THE DAY OF THE RACE:

Adult 1 Mile walk and ONE entry into costume contest: $25 (BANDANNAS SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY-Limited number of t shirts will be available for purchase) $15 extra dog entry into contest

Youth (6-12) 1 Mile walk only: $15

Children 5 and under free

 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

8-9am: Check in/registration (please check in when you arrive, if you are entering the contest, there is a form to fill out and you will need to get your contestant number)

9:30- 1 Mile walk

10:30- Dog Costume Contest

11:30- Basket raffle

Pet Costume Contest:

Entrants must fill out a form the day of the event at check in with name,  and a description of your dog and the costume clearly written if you would like the MC to announce your dog and to be included in our winners' publicity. 

• Human Entrants will be given a participant number which much be worn so that it is visible to the judges.
• Dogs must be leashed at all times.
• Each dog must have his/her own adult walker (13+ years old with paid registration, whether or not you are walking the 1 mile walk)
• Entrants must gather at the parade ring at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the parade.
• The judges’ decisions are final.
• No motorized vehicles are allowed.
• No entrant is eligible for more than one award.

• Diva Dog (Female dog)
• Macho Mutt (Male Dog)
• Owner/Dog Look Alike
