Josh's Superhero 5k

Josh's Superhero 5k takes place in through the community of Waskom, during peak of May. It starts on the Waskom Park, continues past Waskom High School and proceeds directly through the beautiful neighborhood surrounding the elementary and middle school. There is one minor uphill slope along School Avenue on the high school side, and a few curves as the course follows the back down School Avenue. You finish the last half mile running toward the park with a band of superheroes and heroines motivating you to cross the finish line! The event also includes a post race snack, t-shirt, running bib and post-race awards ceremony with Josh and his family!It’s a race for the competitive, not-so-competitive, and the families and friends who are saving the day for our 5-year-old hero, Josh.
