Jim Thorpe Run Race Description

Welcome to the Jim Thorpe Run! This mainstay of the New Mexico running schedule is hosted by Native Health Initiative as a fundraiser for our Sports Warriors program. Join us on June 7th at the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute for a 2 mile Fun Walk, 5k Race, 1k Youth Run and a Toddler Dash. 

Age group awards for the 5k Race female and male: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+

Age group awards for 1k Youth Run female and male: 8 and under, 9-10, 11-12

June 6th Packet pickup at Heart and Sole Sports (San Mateo location) 12-6pm.

June 7th SCHEDULE:

Packet pick-up and on-site registration at SIPI: 6:30 – 8:00 am
2-mile Fun Walk: 7:30 am
5 k Race: 8:30 am
1 k Youth Run: 9:30 am
Toddler Dash: 9:45 am
Traditional Pueblo throw: 10:00 am
Awards: after Pueblo Throw
