Our annual #iWillRunForHER event was established in 2016 as a way for community to come together and dedicate a run to those affected by domestic and sexual violence. We hold space every October in conjunction with Domestic Violence Awareness Month to promote healing and wellness through running.
Running is healing. Running is medicine.
Four out of five Native Women will experience violence in her life…this is not just a statistic; it is our mothers, sisters, and daughters. Our communities are experiencing an imbalance and we need space to heal so that we honor the beauty of her resiliency.
