HOPE Lives On 5K Walk/Run Race Description

The HOPE Lives On 5K Walk/Run is an effort by the HOPE Campaign to increase awareness of the importance of mental health. We strive to inform students, faculty, and staff of the contributing factors of suicide as well as how they can utilize preventive measures. The 5K Walk/Run will be held on Saturday, April 4th, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. In addition to raising awareness, the HOPE Lives On 5K Walk/Run will also serve as a fundraiser for two local organizations- the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Alabama Chapter and Crisis Services of North Alabama. 100% of the $15 registration fee will be donated to these local suicide prevention efforts.
