Hope Continues 5K and 1 Mile Walk Race Description
The 2017 Hope Continues 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk is the first year of an annual event that replaces the prior Tupelo Breast Cancer Awareness Run. 100% of the proceeds will stay in the sixteen counties of Northeast Mississippi. Funds will be used to provide screening and support for affected individuals.
Awards will be given for timed participants in the 5K only. Equal awards for female and male runners. One deep in Over-All, Masters and Grandmasters. Three deep in the following age groups: 0-9, 10-14,15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.
Entry fees are $20 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 Mile Walk until Labor Day. The fees go up to $25 for the 5K and $20 for the 1 Mile Walk until October 26, 2017. Race day registration will be available at $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile Walk. There is an extra $5 fee if you wish to have a timing chip to be eligible for awards in the 5K.
