Hero Run Series Race Description
Welcome to the November 19th, 2016 Hero Run Series - Fun Run / Walk 5k, 10k & 1/2 Marathon! Come out and run / walk with friends and be a hero to someone!
This is an open and public course so please be courteous to all other pedestrians, runners and cyclist on the path. This is an out and back course with 3 turn around points.
This run will feature:
- Awesome Medals
- Cool Participant Shirt
- Clock Timing (not chip - this is a fun run)
- FREE Photos
- Easy to Follow Track
Participants are not allowed to run / walk with dogs but baby joggers and strollers are allowed.
Time Limits - 5 hours. We will close the course at 12 noon sharp. This is about a 23 minute brisk walk pace for the 1/2 marathon. Please email us for an earlier start time if needed at: herorunseries@gmail.com .
NO REFUNDS. NO BANDITS.
Bib & Packet Pick-up: 6:00am - 6:45am on the morning of the event.
Start Time: 7:00am
Location: Kern River Parkway Bike Trail, Bakersfield, Ca. 93311
Parking: Free parking nearby.
Hotel Stay: Many hotels in Bakersfield, Ca. that would all be within 15 miles of the start line.
