Hell's Canyon Gruel Duathlon Doc Sears Fall Classic 8K Run

There are three races occurring. Two duathlons and one fun run. The fun run is a simple out and back totally 8K in distance. It will use the same turn-around point as will be used in the long course duathlon's second run. The duathlons consist of a run then bike then another run. Both races will have the first run at 4k in distance before starting the bike portion. The short course will run the same distance in the second run whereas the long course will run 8k for the second run. The short course will have a 21k bike (~13 miles) that is out and back on Tammany Creek Road with the turn-around being at the stop sign where Tammany and Thain connect. The long course will have a 37k bike (~23 miles) with the turn-around at the intersection of where Tammany Creek Road Splits into Waha Road and Webb Road. Sheriff's Posse personnel will be at these areas to help control traffic. Teams consist of two people where one person does both of the runs and the other person does the bike. There will be an area for teams to tag outside of the bike transition.
