HammerHead Ocean Marathon
HammerHead Ocean Marathon Race Description
Open Water swim featuring 3 distances to choose from, starting in front of the Jax Beach Lifeguard Station, Jacksonville Beach, FL or a few blocks away (to swim back to the station).
Choose from a 1k, 2k or 5k swim. You can also register to do this as a virtual swim (your time, your place). Water support is provided by kayaks and lifeguards for those who come to race in person.
Online registration closes on Tuesday night before the race. Late Registration will be accepted at Packet Pickup Thursday and Friday night 5-7pm and 6am race morning.

Always a great event. Water is never predictable! Great challenge and well organized race.
Fun, well-attended race with handmade awards and artistic T-shirt designs. Race is held even in rough water conditions.
