Gnome One Walks Alone Race Description
Join Our Daily Gnome Creative Arts Center of Chesapeake at Oak Grove Lake Park on Saturday, May 13, 2023, for our Inaugural 5K Run/Walk for Children's Mental Health Awareness/Acceptance.
We titled our run/walk "GNOME One Walks Alone" because we wanted children and adults to know they do not walk alone in the fight for mental health awareness and acceptance. Here at Our Daily Gnome Creative Arts Center we are Kicking Anxiety With Creativity!!
We will be awarding medals for the top three in each age group, plus t-shirts, goody bags and fruit for the first 250 participants to register.
There will be crafts for the kids and lots of great door prizes from area small businesses! Along with information on community resources in Hampton Roads for Children's Mental Health.
Registration rates ($15-25) until 5/10/23 Registration will close on 5/10/23.
Proceeds will go to support the summer creative arts programs and the Gnomes on the Roam Art Enrichment program at Our Daily Gnome Creative Arts Center of Chesapeake -a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to use creative arts as a springboard for creative thought, educational growth, personal development, and social cohesion.
