GMAA Green Mountain Marathon Race Description
The Green Mountain Athletic Association is proud to offer a relaxed, uncrowded, quality marathon at an affordable price. The certified course is run entirely on a sparsley populated island in Lake Champlain - see wineries, orchards, family farms, beautiful mountain and lake vistas, and a small New England village. View photos of the 2003 race and see for yourself! Use the money saved on your entry fee to visit some of Vermont's many attractions.

GMAA delivers on all accounts! Lake Champlain, farms, wineries, foliage, not crowded, well organized, local support, a race for runners by runners. I am so lucky to have found this race for my first marathon!
