Gabriella's 5K Cupcake Run Race Description
Join us for a great cause. Gabriella’s Smile Foundation is hosting their Second Annual 5k Cupcake Run on May 18, 2019. The 5K where everyone Runs for Cupcakes! Burn off some calories and enjoy a cupcake (or two) on us! Runners AND walkers welcome! This is a family friendly event for everyone and kids ages 1-14 can register as official participants.
May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month and we are raising money for Pediatric Brain Cancer Research. Cupcakes were Gabriella‘s favorite and we want to share some with you while raising money to help fund brain cancer research and The Cure Starts Now.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to The Cure Starts Now. Since 2007, The Cure Starts Now has been one of the leaders in non-government funding of pediatric brain cancer research and a pioneer to the efforts to find the homerun cure to all cancers, starting with DIPG. 100% of donations made to The Cure Starts Now go directly to research. This means your money is used in the most efficient way possible. The Cure Starts Now is not just another cancer charity, but the only cancer charity dedicated to the “homerun cure” – curing cancer, one child at a time. We are proud to support this foundation as part of Gabriella’s Smile Foundation’s mission to help FUND research.
