Fitness Sisters 8k Celebration Run Race Description
Welcome, Ladies!
In celebration of reaching 8k members, we are holding a virtual race that can be completed and posted online. Therefore, anyone, anywhere can participate.
Where: anywhere
What: 8k/ 4.97 miles
How: Virtual
When: February 23rd - 29th
In order to participate, please register before the race beginning. A thread on the group page will be available to post your progress, and finish photo. Using a time/ distance tracking app, please post your final finish photo and screenshot/ picture of your finish time with the 8k distance. You can photograph the equipment you used, or screenshot the app you used.
Some apps that are useful for tracking time and distance for runs are: Strava, Runkeeper, Fitbit, Google Fit, Samsung Fit, Apple Fitness and so on.
The race itself is free, and we will be including a custom digital race bib for your collection. There will also be race medals available for purchase. Medals will be mailed out following the conclusion of the race.
