Fit4Life - 3K Oklahoma

We are sponsoring a 3K Walk/Run to raise funds for diabetes research, cancer awareness and research and Living Waters Scholarship Foundation.  All funds will go towards each of these non-profits along with American Cancer Society and American Diabetes Association. 

Our Fit-4-Life/#BXTRM Vision

Our vision is drive healthier lifestyles, by increasing health and wellness awareness, by duplicating local solutions nationally and globally.

With the growing epidemic of diabetes/pre-diabetes and cancer; among many other diseases that we face in our communities there needs to be drastic and extreme changes that need to be made at various levels.  First, within our communities, our districts, at the state and federal levels to impact these growing epidemics.  Our organization's key objectives are to:

• Increase health and wellness awareness overall
• Collect/analyze information from local, state and federal research organizations to determine the need for awareness and change
• Provide community outreach to those in need of information
• Provide information to legislators to assist in healthcare needs, by providing insight, through clinical trials and data compiling
• Utilizing and supporting organic and holistic care professionals and fresh market produce suppliers
• Increase awareness of free/low-cost health care and wellness services currently provided through local and state funded projects/programs

Additionally, our organization has started an endowment campaign in order to raise funds to start a permanent endowment for the purposes of scholarship funding for students in Lawton, Oklahoma and surrounding areas.  Our hope is to increase the number of medical professionals to support a much needed industry in Lawton and surrounding areas.
