First Magnitude 7.2k Springs Run

Our annual 7.2k Springs Run returns this year on Saturday, December 10th. The race starts at 11:00 AM at First Magnitude and goes down Hawthorne Trail. We’ll also offer a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk at 11:15 for those looking for something a little shorter. All profits will benefit the Springs Eternal Project’s efforts to inspire Floridians to value our springs and the diverse ecosystems they support as fundamental to the health and well-being of us all, human and non-human; to redefine these relationships in socially just and ecologically sustainable terms; and to work collaboratively to conserve, restore and protect Florida’s precious waters for our children and theirs, for generations to come.

All runners in the 7.2K will get a post-race First Magnitude beer! Registration includes a T shirt and non T shirt option. T shirts will be a soft poly-cotton short sleeve.

Are you fast? Run for the mug! The top 3 finishers in each age and gender group will get their own First Magnitude mug with a beer fill (for winners under 21 years of age, you will just get the mug)

Age groups will be split by gender and are as follows: 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, and 65+.

The two fastest overall runners in each gender group will get a $100 gift certificate to Gainesville Running and Walking.
