Fifolet 5k - VIRTUAL

The Pumpkin Pi Race is now the Fifolet 5k and it's going virtual this year!

Run, walk, bike, rollerblade or fly on your broomstick for 3.1 miles in your neighborhood or at a local park anytime during the last two weeks of October to participate. And bring your little dog, too! But there's a catch...

We want you to do it in costume. 

Join the #MASKuerade and help us #SaveHalloween by registering as a Fifolet 5k participant! Not only will you help provide some much needed happiness in our community during this stressful time, you'll also receive a t-shirt, finisher medal or ribbon and be eligible to win other awards. 

DATES: Anytime October 18 through October 31, 2020

FEES: $31 for the Fifolet 5k, $25 for the 1 Mile Fun Run

• The 5k Finisher Medal is 4" and has a purple glitter background and light blue translucent sun catcher feature

VIRTUAL TIMING RULES:

• All time awards require photo evidence via upload to RaceEntry.com. 
  
• Log into RaceEntry.com and go to the "Manage My Registration" page to log your time and upload photo evidence. 
• Photo evidence is optional, however time entries without photo evidence will not be eligible for timed awards.
• All 5k runners will receive a t-shirt, digital bib, digital finisher certificate and medal.
• All 1 mile runners will receive a t-shirt, digital bib, digital finisher certificate and ribbon.
• Photos must show the total distance of 5 kilometers or 3.1 miles for the 5k, or 1.6 kilometers or 1 mile for the fun run.
• Photos must show the total time in relation to that distance in hours:minutes:seconds format.
• Winners will be announced on November 1, 2020.
• Overall and category winners will be noted on their finisher medal or ribbon.
• Age bracket recognition will not be awarded for the 1 Mile Fun Run.
• Timed awards are for runners / walkers only. Bicycle, roller blade, or other types of participation are welcome, however not eligible for a timed award.
• Photo evidence must be received between 8am on October 18, 2020 and 10pm on October 31, 2020 to be eligible for timed awards.

COSTUME CONTEST RULES:

• All costume contest participants must post a public photo on Facebook or Instagram using all 3 race hashtags:  #Fifolet5k, #MASKuerade and #SaveHalloween. Remember, we will not see your post unless it is set to PUBLIC.
• Costume contest participants must have their bib and number showing in the photo.
• Photos must be taken outside (neighborhood or local park).
• Winners will be selected by the 10/31 Consortium Board of Directors on November 1, 2020 and announced that same day.
• Costume contest winners will be noted on their finisher medal or button.
• Photo must be posted between 8am on October 18, 2020 and 10pm on October 31, 2020 to be eligible for costume contest. 

T-SHIRT AND AWARD PICKUP DAY TO BE SCHEDULED. SHIPPING AVAILABLE FOR THOSE OUTSIDE OF BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA.
