Join us August 15th @ 8am for the first ever Faithful 5K in Greenbrier, Arkansas! 

This is a powerful opportunity to move your body with purpose, practice endurance, and steward the strength God has given you.

This event is open to everyone—walkers, joggers, runners, families, first-timers, and seasoned athletes. You can participate virtually from anywhere via the runkeeper app or join us in-person at Matthew's park to complete the 5K together - it's going to be an amazing day!

This race not about proving yourself. It is about practicing faithfulness and making the most out of the body God's given you!

A 5K is 3.1 miles of forward motion—one step at a time. Whether you walk the whole thing, run for a personal best, push a stroller, gather your small group, or simply commit to finishing, this is a chance to train your body, renew your mind, and remember that endurance is built through obedience in small things and best practiced in community!

Throughout the event, we will be focusing on endurance—not just physical endurance, but spiritual endurance. The kind that helps us keep going when life gets heavy, when motivation fades, and when the road ahead feels longer than expected. Endurance like Jesus showed us in His mission to save us from our sins.

Individual Option: Join Coach Alex and the local Faithful Fitness crew for a group 5K experience at Matthew's Park in Greenbrier, AR. (Shirt and medal included with registration)

Family 5K Option: Save on our race when you run with your whole family! Join with up to 8 family members/teammates and complete the 5K together! (Shirt(s) and medal(s) included with registration)

Children 9 and under are encouraged to participate at their pace within arms reach of a parent or guardian for free. Please note, unregistered runners will not be timed on the leaderboard and will not receive a finisher medal. Also, if they would like a shirt, they can be purchased as an add-on during registration - SHIRTS WILL NOT BE SOLD ON SITE!

Virtual Option: Complete your 5K anywhere during the event window and share your finish with the Faithful Fitness community (Faithful 5K shirt and medal sold separately).

A portion of every registration, sponsorship, and vendor fee will go to supporting the mission of THREE18, a local non-profit dedicated to transforming lives by combining sports, medicine, service, and discipleship to raise leaders, build faith, and create lasting impact in campuses, communities, and Belize.

FAQ

Can I walk in this event?

Yes. Run, jog, walk, or crawl (let's hope not) - all skill levels are welcome. Rumor has it, there will even be some little ones in strollers!

Do I need to register my whole team at once?

No. Just take note of your team name and the "password" you set and other team members can register later with that information by selecting the "Team" option and registering as a team member.

Can I register more than 8 on my team?

Yes, but you will need to designate a second team captain and register the rest of your team under their name with an "_" after so we know to put all of your registrations together! 

Is the race actually IN Matthews Park?

Yes and no. The race will come from Matthews park but the route will go through the neighborhood behind it. On race day, parking will be at the front of the park off of the highway 65 entrance (where the playground and splash pad are) and the restroom facilities will be open. Check-in will begin at 6am under the pavilion. Vendors and sponsors will line the walking path that leads to the back of the park with goodies and promotions leading to where the start/finish line is located, right beside the dog park. The race will begin from there onto Glenn lane at 8am! 

How do virtual race registrations work?

Virtual racers will be able to join in the race from anywhere via their phone on the "Runkeeper" app. They can start and finish their race anytime between 5am and 5pm CST on August 15th. Once the 5k is completed (3.1 miles), virtual racers will screenshot a copy of their gps with their run time and distance (must be 3.1 or greater) and following the link in their confirmation email to 'manage my registration'. The 4th option on the management menu is labeled "submit virtual results". There you will be prompted to share your screenshot and confirm your time! 

Virtual registration does not include a shirt or finisher medal which may be purchased separately during registration if desired. They will be shipped the day after the race!
