Run for Vision 5K Race Description

Runners
Join ophthalmologists, eye bankers, donor family members and corneal transplant recipients and support EBAA’s mission to restore sight through cornea donation and transplantation. The top three finishers in each age category, both male and female, will be awarded medals. All runners will receive a complimentary long-sleeved commemorative running shirt.

The 2019 race will be held in the scenic Golden Gate Park in the Peacock Meadow. Peacock Meadow is located on JFK Drive just west of the intersection with Conservatory Drive East.

Run from Home

If you can't get to San Francisco, or even if you just can't get out of bed on October 13, you can still support EBAA and the Run for Vision.

Our Run from Home option entitles you to the same commemorative shirt worn by the runners, shipped directly to your home. And it allows you to help EBAA restore sight to blind and visually-impaired individuals in the U.S. and around the world through cornea transplantation and research.

So register to Run from Home and wear your Run for Vision shirt with pride - we'll never tell that you didn't make it to the finish line!

Packet Pick Up
Race packets, including shirts, bib, timing chips and race day information will be distributed from the Bausch + Lomb booth (#6266) in the Moscone Center on Saturday, October 12, from 9:00 - 5:00.

Run for Vision Sponsor

Since its inception, the Run for Vision has been sponsored by Bausch + Lomb, whose generous grant underwrites the full cost of the Run, so 100% of your registration fee supports the Eye Bank Association of America's efforts to restore sight and transform lives.

Shuttle Transportation

Complimentary shuttle transportation will be provided from the Westin St. Francis and the Marriott Marquis to the race site and back. Each participant will receive an email on race week with the final details on shuttle pick-up locations and times.

No Gear Check

There will be no designated area to check personal items so please leave your valuables at the hotel and just bring yourself to the start line!
