East Bay Front Runners Pride Run

EBFRW is excited to announce our 18th Annual Pride Run & Walk, which will be in person this year for the first time since 2019. REGISTER NOW!  

Event details

What:  There are 5K walk, 5K run, and 10K run options. In addition, you may choose a virtual race that allows you to run or walk your preferred distance at any location you like.

Where: The in-person race starts and finishes adjacent to the Lake Merritt Sailboat House, 568 Bellevue Ave., Oakland, CA, 94610. The 5K distance makes one loop of beautiful Lake Merritt, while the 10K makes two loops.

Parking is $5 within Lakeside Park along Bellevue Ave. Metered and unmetered street parking is available in the immediate vicinity. The 19th Street Oakland BART station is one mile from the starting line. AC Transit line 12 serves Grand Ave. nearby.

When: 

• In-person race: Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 9am. 
• Virtual race: anytime between October 8 and October 16, 2022. 

Price:

• In-person events: $25 in advance, $30 on race day 
• Virtual event: $20 

What you get: 

• A pair of famed EBFRW pride-themed running socks (in-person only) 
• Finisher ribbon 
• Discounted shopping at RoadID and Sports Basement 
• Medals for the top three finishers in each gender category of each event (in-person only)

Who you support:  Most of the net proceeds of the Pride Run & Walk benefit two outstanding LGBTQ+ community organizations:

• Oakland LGBTQ Center 
• Pacific Center for Human Growth
