Earth Day Trash Walk Race Description
Earth Day is April 22, 2022. This event will take place April 23, 2022. I plan to host a Trash Walk, all percipients will walk a 5k route in a litter filled area and pick up the trash at the same time, starting at Lehigh and Kensington. The goal of the walk is to not only get litter of the ground but also raise awareness around environmental justice in Philadelphia especially in brown and black communities. We will try and collect as many bags of trash we can in one day. For every bag of trash we collect Everyone will be given tools(gloves, trash bags, trash picker) A Dj will be on site as well as videographer. Refreshments will also be provided for everyone. Please help me impact this community. The goal is 500 people signed up and completed this walk!! #LetsDoThis
