Orchard Park Middle School PTO is excited to host this fun-filled event to foster community spirit and bring family and friends together. Join us to celebrate the end of a great school year, our Orchard Park pride and the goodness & "color" we bring to each other and our community!
The Dye & Dash 5K will include a post-race color party celebration with DJ Mike, Lloyds's Tacos, Fat Bob's BBQ, Just Pizza and more! The fundraiser will support the PTO in funding many school-wide initiatives, including but not limited to: Character Education, Holocaust Education Assembly, Children In Need Books project, DARE program, field trip transportation, book donations to the library and PTO sponsored clubs, activities, events, celebrations, and staff recognition efforts.
The DYE & DASH 5K and post-run Color Party celebration is a community event and therefore is not a school-supervised event. Please ensure your child's safety & supervision as you would with any community event.
PRICING:
Early Registration (until April 1st) $25.00
General Registration: (April 1st until May 1st) $30.00
Late Registration: (After May 1st) $30 pricing remains the same, however, would not guarantee a T-shirt individual color packs
Event Day Registration:
Event day registration will be open from 3:45 PM to 5:45 PM. Event day pricing will be the same as Late Registration
Scenic route through the Village of Orchard Park Green Lake neighborhood and through Yates Park
Schedule:
Thursday, May 28th: 2:30 - 4:30, Early race bag pick-up at OPMS
Race Day - Friday, May 29th:
3:45 pm Packet Pick Up & Day of Registration
6:00 pm Race Start
7:00 pm Post Race celebration/party at OPMS Soccer field area/Pavilion area

When you call it a 5k and have Eclipse timing company there as your timer and race contact AND have it posted on Buffalorunners.com, it implies in EVERY way that this is a timed race. When there is a starting line, and a finish line with an ACTIVE clock, this implies a timed race. Charge $30 per participant implies this is a race. Not timing it or turning the results over to Buffalorunner.com is poor organization and false advertising.
