The Dr. James H. Crowdis Heart Run features a 5K and 10K race on a certified course. Medals are presented to all finishers in both events.
Awards will be given to overall winners in open, masters, grand masters, senior grand masters, and super grand masters categories. Awards to the top 3 in M/F age groups: (5K) 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & over and (10K) 0-14, 15-19, 20-29. 30-39, 40-49, 50-59,60-69, 70 & over plus top 3 M/F walkers in each race.
Preregistration entry fee is $20 through 5 pm ET January 21, 2023. It is suggested that you register by this date to guarantee your correct t-shirt size. Entry fee afterward is $25 until 5 pm on Friday, February 3, 2023. Race day registration will be $30.
Both the 5K and 10K races will begin at 9:30am EST at the First United Methodist Church, 397 College Street, Blakely. The awards will be presented inside the church social hall at 10:45am EST or immediately after the final competitor has finished.
The Dr. James H. Crowdis Run is a Dothan Runners Club Grand Prix event. It is also a Peachtree Road Race qualifying race.
