Celebrate Filipino American History Month by helping fundraise for typhoon relief in the Philippines! The Disaster Support Network for the Philippines, formerly known as South Bay Taskforce Haiyan, invites you to join us as we run/walk 5K for $5K! All proceeds will go towards grassroots efforts to support those affected by natural disasters in the Philippines and to help sponsor the curriculum provided by the Citizen's Disaster Response Center for our upcoming mission trip. Pre-Register by October 14, 2015 for a guaranteed shirt Entry fees: · $35.00 for pre-registered runners w/ t-shirt · $35.00 for race-day registration w/o t-shirt On the day of: · Check-in begins at 8 am · Run/walk begins at 9 am After the run, please join ECCAC in celebrating our Fil-Am history with games, giveaways, and food until 4pm. If you can't participate in the 5K for 5K Fun Run/Walk and still would like to help, you can still donate to the Disaster Support Network for the Philippines.
