CSRA AIDS Walk/Run Race Description

The CSRA AIDS 5K Walk/Run presented by Living Well Pharmacy, hosted by Augusta Housing & Community Development & Positively Augusta, will provide an opportunity for community fellowship and support of the cause as an extension of World AIDS Day and includes a FREE 1 mile kids fun run sponsored by Walgreens!

Proceeds from the event will benefit grassroots awareness and prevention organizations in the CSRA who are not current City of Augusta’s Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) program sponsors. Our HOPWA program provides assistance and services to eligible individuals and families in Aiken, Burke, Columbia, Edgefield, McDuffie, Richmond and Warren Counties. Join us in this worthy cause as we bring awareness to local efforts and programs that increase prevention, awareness and affordable housing opportunities for individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS.

Hang out with us for a post-walk celebration, complete with food, music and fun! Organization awards will be announced and much more!
