Color Our World 5K and 1K Race Description
TASC's Color Our World 5K & 1K

Saturday, June 1, 2024!
Join local nonprofit, The Adult Skills Center (TASC), in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Along the routes, there will be different color stations where you will be doused with colored cornstarch and your shirt will become a festive souvenir of the event. The 5K course is timed with a bib. The 1K is not timed. Both the 5K and 1K participants will receive event t-shirts, swag bags and finisher medals.
Feel free to walk, jog or stroll. All abilities are welcome; color-free option available.
Along the course, you will find musical performers to keep you entertained and energized to finish!
The end of the event will offer a Closing Ceremony, food trucks (for purchase), bounce house, arts & crafts, and more! It's an event not to be missed.

The 5K Color Run Fundraiser was an absolute blast! From start to finish, it was a whirlwind of vibrant colors, enthusiastic participants, and a strong sense of community coming together for a great cause. Whether you ran, walked, or cheered from the sidelines, the energy was infectious. It's not just a run; it's an experience that leaves you smiling, covered in colors, and feeling proud to have supported such a meaningful fundraiser. Can't wait for next year's event!
The 5k event was lots of fun. It was great to see all the familiar faces as well many new supporters this year. Every year there are new vendors to enjoy. I especially enjoyed the smaller mom and pop booths that came to sell their products. The event was well organized and put together. But my favorite part was throwing the paint around and looking like a walking rainbow by the time it was over.
This color run was so fun! The course was beautiful, simple, and easy to follow. There were 5 color stations and you could avoid the color if you chose not to get doused in a rainbow of color. TASC is a wonderful non-profit that helps provide a better quality of life and independence for an underserved group within our community. It feels great to contribute to an amazing cause close to my heart. Thanks TASC!!!
Although I did not participate in the actual race itself, I was impressed by the turnout and the spirit that everyone who attended exhibited. The color aspect of the run is what made it so much more exciting and enjoyable.
