Childhood Obesity Awareness Kids Run

Welcome to the inaugural childhood obesity awareness kids run and healthy kids expo. This Funtastic family and friends event will shine a bright light on bringing awareness to childhood obesity and giving families the tools and resources to help put the brakes on childhood obesity.

Kids age 3-14 who register for the run will have the option to run or walk a quarter mile, a half mile or 1 mile adults ages 15 and up can register for 1 or 2 miles run or walk,at Rancho Simi community park in the city of Simi valley, CA.

In Conjunction with the run there will be fitness and nutritional professional giving advice and strategies on combating obesity to all in attendance.

There will be fun fitness activities for kids to participate  in and also yummy healthy snack recipes to make at home.

Proceeds of the event benefit Youth Movementz and organizations that raise awareness and support for reducing the rise of obesity in children,teens and young adults.
