Canoe Relay Race Description
About the Relay: This relay will be fun for all ages. Canoes will be provided and life vests will be available for use. We will do our best to have a variety of sizes.
Teams will consist of 4 people. There will be sessions with up to 5 teams canoeing for time. You may sign up for your relay slot the day of. Each session will begin with the first pair of each team leaving the start/finish line a short distance from the canoe entry point to run/walk to their assigned canoe. Racers will paddle the course and return to the shore where the other pair of their team will swap out to paddle the course. Once back to the shore, the racers will finish clocking their time by crossing the start/finish line. Times will be recorded to determine the winners.
The water course will be well marked.
