Butterfly Run

The Butterfly Run is a 5K Run/Walk hosted by Paraklete Inc. 

The whole family is invited (includeding the family pet)! 

The run will begin at the Tuttle Middle School and end at Tuttle Schrock Park.  

Your entry helps fund expenses for Cassie Garrett. 

Cassie was born with Turners syndrome, a rare genetic disorder with many health complications. 

On February 4th, 2020 Cassie suffered a major aortic dissection while at work.  This required her to have emergency heart surgery to replace the aortic valve.  The surgery was successful, but her recovery has been very challenging as many of her other organs began to shut down and suffer becuase of the trauma. 

She and her family and friends have been fighting for her life.  We have been praying consistently for her full recovery, and we believe and trust God to completely restore her health.  In the meantime, there are on going expenses including house and car payments, dog boarding, and other miscellaneous bills.  Of course medical bills are accumulating by the day, so we want to do all we can to ensure these bills are covered and she is able to return to her normal, world-changing life as soon as possible!  

Your participation in this race means so much to Cassie and her family.  It's more than a $35 dollar contribution.  It is a reminder that people are linking arms with the Garrett family and that there is a community believing and praying with us to win this battle!
