Bridgeport Juniors Trick or Trot 5k

Bridgeport Junior Woman's Club 5k, a fun Family & stroller friendly race will be held on October 27th, 2018 at 9AM.  The race will start and finish at the Civic center next to the pool.  The course will begin at the Bridgeport Civic Center, crosses Virginia Avenue and goes into the Bridgeport City trail, which will bring you into the city park.  Runners will cross the parking lot entrance into the city park and follow the signs.  Participants will need to do two laps around the city park before heading back to cross the park entrance and up the hill, following the trail and heading towards the start of the race.  

Online registration will close on October 26th.  Participants registered by October 13th are guaranteed a shirt. 

This is not a chipped timed event but finishers time will be recorded manually.  Awards will be given to the first place winner in each age group as well as the first second and third place overall for runners in the male and female category.  An award will also be given to the runner or walker with best costume.  The age categories are as follows...

0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

There will be a kid's dash at 8:30 am.  Kids who aren't running can participle in the many kid activities including the kids spartan event presented by the only Spartan Certified coach, Jen Braizier.
