Benton City 4th of July 5k Race Description

 

Start your Fourth of July festivities on a scenic and flat course along the walking path in Benton City . All ages and abilities are welcome; you can walk, jog, run or race. Just be sure to include a healthy start to your holiday celebration! 

 

REGISTRATION:

The pre-registration deadline is June 27, 2023 at 11:59 pm.  You save some money and have the ability to order a t-shirt with the 2nd annual logo by June 18th!  The overall deadline for registration will be July 3, 2023 at 12:00 pm. 
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS.    


PACKET PICKUP:

Packet Pickup will be at City Park, Benton City, WA on race day (July 4th) starting at 6:30 am.

Timing will be by Webscorer. 

There will be one water station on the course that you will pass by 2 times for the race. 

 

AWARDS

OVERALL top three female and male finishers for each distance.


Age Group Awards: The top 3 in each of the following age groups will receive an award: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Check the paper results or your phone at webscorer.com for the results. Awards will be after the Flag Raising Ceremony at 9:30am.

FINISH LINE

There will be bottled water at the finish line.  And Benton City Chamber of Commerce will be happy to sell you breakfast after the race for $5.00.

RACE COURSE

Our events can’t be possible without amazing volunteers. It’s always fun to run, but every runner should also volunteer once in awhile. secordstrength@yahoo.com

What a fun time. The event was very well organized. Lots of people everywhere so you knew where you were going. The first one that I've done in 6 years. It was a great experience.
