Battle Back to School

Please join us as we "Battle Back to School"!

The Battle Back to School 5K is an inaugural event that aims to promote healthy lifestyles, instill the value of hard work, and the importance of team camaraderie that young people learn from running. We aim to instill these values by coming together to give back, and encourage a strong sense of community throughout Greater Cincinnati.

In conjunction with the Flying Pig Marathon, the Battle Back to School 5K will occur August 5, 2017 and is located at the Smale Park on the Banks in Downtown Cincinnati. The course will take participants around Great American Ball Park and Paul Brown Stadium, concluding at Smale Park for the post-race party.

The event is open to all high schools in the Greater Cincinnati Area to participate as a fun, engaging way to prepare for the upcoming school year and fall sport season.  The Battle Back to School run will feature a 5K run along with a post-race party with a DJ and a chance to meet and engage with other high school students in the city all while raising money for the Ronald McDonald House.

For a low cost of $20 to register, you will receive a spot in the 5K, a gift bag of goodies, and a complimentary meal after the completion of the race.
