Anoka Family Fun Run

RACE INFORMATION 

Come and bring the whole family to participate in the first annual Anoka Family Fun Run 5K hosted by MOPS of First Baptist Church of Anoka. 

This event is open to everyone. Kids 12 and under are FREE*. 

T-Shirts will be provided for all paid registrants, ages 12 and older. Bring your stroller, jogger, or wagon with kids in tow! The race will have a clock, but no timing devices.  There will be prizes for the first and second runner who cross the finish line.

The course is located just miles from Downtown Anoka, and the finish line will start and end at First Baptist Church of Anoka.  The route will take you along the beautiful Mississippi River and several scenic parks.  Following the race, please join us for a family "Day at the Park", hosted by the First Baptist Church of Anoka.  This is a FREE event with food, face painting, family bingo, bounce houses, and more.   This event is a charitable fundraiser for MOPS sponsored by First Baptist Church of Anoka. We are a chapter of MOPS International, a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. We focus on building circles of moms who love each other like family.  Our gatherings are where moms can meet to share their hopes, fears and insights, in a format that works with their schedules, that does not neglect their faith nor their womanhood, their motherhood nor their purpose, their heart nor their mind.    Come for a day of all around exercise and family fun!  * Age 12 and under are free.  Completed race waivers are REQUIRED for ALL participants.  Waivers are available through the race registration page for all ages and will also be available at the welcome table on race day.    Race Date: June 16th, 2018 Check in: 8:15 a.m. Race Start: 9:00 a.m. Location: First Baptist Church of Anoka - 1235 Park St. Anoka, MN 55303 Parking: First Baptist Church of Anoka Registration: $25, registration will increase to $35 on June 1st, and $40 on the day of the race  Refund policy: Entry fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable under all circumstances, including, but not limited to, cancellation of the event or of your participation, or change in the date, nature, or format of the event. An event may be canceled or changed due to severe weather or other factors that threaten the safety of participants, staff, or volunteers. Once we receive your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. We also do not allow entries to be rolled over to another year.  Severe Weather Cancellation Policy: Runners, their families and guests and our volunteers safety is our first priority. The Anoka Family Fun Run will run come rain or shine, with the exception of threatening weather conditions. When conditions present a danger to our Runners, their families and our volunteers, we maintain the right to cancel or postpone the start of each the event. Such conditions will not result in refunding of any race entry fees. If the event is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the official start time, all participants will be notified via our Facebook page and our official race website www.anokafamilyfunrun.com.
