Help the soldiers of Charlie Company 949 raise money for future family events. C Co 949 is a medical unit based out of Irving Texas. It is a National Guard unit that is responsible for providing a broad range of medical care to assist other units in the Army's ever-changing operational environment. From doctors, to nurses, to physician assistants, to medics, this unit trains to rapidly deploy wherever medical care is needed. This run, and the money raised, will go towards helping the unit plan future family events. So come join us for a day of fitness and learn more about the soldiers of Charlie Company and their role in the Army's Medical Mission. 

This race will take place on September 9th, 2017 at 9 a.m. This is a non-competitive race with the goal of the whole family joining to engage in some early morning fitness, while also meeting the soldiers of the Texas Army National Guard. The start time is 9 am, but feel free to come and join soldiers from the unit anytime after 7:30 am. There will be games and activities and C Co 949 will have some of their medical assets and vehicles on site for anyone interested in learning more about the units mission. Parking can be found anywhere inside of Trinity Park. The start point will be at 2200 Trinity Park Dr., near the Fort Worth Police and Firefighters Memorial. We look forward to your participation.
