5k for 9-1-1 Veterans Race Description
Join us on Saturday, July 25th at Southards Pond Park in Babylon for Strides for LI x 9-1-1 Veterans 5k, a student-led run supporting local veterans. Check-in begins at 9:00 AM and the race starts at 10:00 AM. All proceeds benefit 9-1-1 Veterans, a Long Island nonprofit helping service members transition to civilian life. Together, we’ll turn strides into support — one step at a time.

Fun 5K
Despite it being their first 5K, Stride for LI did a very good job of organizing the race, smoothly checking everyone in, staffing the course so it was clear where to run and overall making it an enjoyable morning run experience. I look forward to running with them again next year.
