4K on the Fairway Benefiting EAUS CLOSED Race Description

What - This year is the inaugural event for 4K on the Fairway, a race benefiting Elkton Area United Services .
Where - 4K on the Fairway is a part of the Snow Moon Festival, an annual event hosted by Massanutten Resort. The race will take place at Mountain Greens Golf Course.

When - The race will take place on Saturday, March 2nd. The schedule is as follows:
- Sign In: 9:00 am - 10:15 am
- The Race: 10:30 am
- Snacks and Raffle: To follow the race
Why - Here is some additional information about what your ticket will go towards:
Elkton Area United Services is a comprehensive social service agency serving Eastern Rockingham County since 1972. Elkton Area United Services strives to develop programs and services where needs exist and tries to meet the needs of an ever changing community. Through its programs, Elkton Area United Services provides assistance with housing, electricity, heat, food, GED classes, school supplies, books, transportation, aid to stranded travelers, senior citizens activities and joyful holiday season. The organization is supported primarily from community donations, thrift store proceeds and a United Way of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County Community Impact Grant.

Loved the idea and cause. The raffle was a nice added touch. Volunteers were very friendly and encouraging. Got some great pictures too... Would like to find a safer route given the time of year. Hills and bridges were sketchy with the ice and wet surface. Would also like a race timer and easier way to pay for race day entries. Will definitely be back next year!
Loved the course great challenge. Volunteers and staff were amazing and supportive. Thanks for Massanutten to allow this race to be held there.
