4th Annual TJ Memorial 5K Run/Walk

This year is the 4th Annual TJ Memorial 5K Run/Walk in memory of long time Richmond County resident, Todd Jewell, an avid cyclist and runner who could be found most early Saturday mornings running the streets of Warsaw. Todd and his wife, Dawn, have three sons, Josh, Matthew, and Jacob, all of whom attended Richmond County Public Schools, participated in many sports, and have been active community members.

The proceeds from the inaugural race in 2020 were donated to Richmond County Public Schools Red Track Fund in honor of Todd. Completed in 2021, this newly-paved track can be used by students of Rappahannock and the community.

The proceeds from the 2nd annual race in 2021 helped to create the Rappahannock High School Scholarship Fund. We were able to award a total of 6 scholarships to Rappahannock students!

Last year, the proceeds of the 3rd annual race went to TJ Memorial Scholarships and the Richmond County Education Foundation. With the support of the race participants, donors, and sponsors, we were able to award a total of 5 scholarships to Rappahannock students!

This year, the Jewell family is excited to donate the proceeds of the race to the TJ Memorial Scholarships and Richmond County Education Foundation for Rappahannock High School Students!
