The YMCA Turkey Trot is FREE to everyone in the surrounding communities, YMCA member or not! Besides being a great way to start your Thanksgiving Day, this event is an awesome community event to bring friends, families, youth, and even pets together! 

The Turkey Trot will start and end at the Marinette-Menominee YMCA, on Thursday, November 27. Registration is required by all participants no matter their age.

Registration: 

• All registrations must be completed online before 7:50 AM Thanksgiving Day and the event
• First 200 registrants will receive a free pie donated by Jack's Fresh Market! 
• All youth ages 0-17 registered stop by and grab a Trot certificate and youth kit! 

Check In: 

• Located Inside the YMCA lobby 

• Registration Confirmation QR Code All registrants should have received a confirmation email. In the upper right hand corner click the button to view your QR. Screenshot all QRs in your party for easy check in!

Donation Requests:  In partnership with local schools, the need for healthy snacks was shared to help ensure every child has what they need to learn and grow. Food helps us fuel learning minds and bodies and sets us up for success every day! 

Together, we can nurture the potential of every child—thank you for your support!

• Granola bars (nut-free options when possible)

• Cereal bars

• Fruit snacks

• Applesauce or fruit cups (with peel-off lids)

• Apple chips or dried fruit packs

• Goldfish crackers

• Animal crackers

• Pretzel packs

• Cracker packs (like cheese or peanut butter filled – check school nut policies)

• Trail mix packs (nut-free varieties available)

• Cheese sticks or string cheese (if refrigeration is available)

• Popcorn bags (lightly salted or plain)

• Juice boxes or pouches (100% juice preferred)

Apparel:

• Additional apparel will be sold day of for $20. Youth & Adult sizing available. First-come first-served. 

General Info: 

• Where: 1600 West Drive, Menominee MI, 49858 | Marinette-Menominee YMCA 
• When: Thanksgiving Day | Thurs NOV 27 | 8:00 AM 
• Day Of:

          ~ Light refreshments (coffee, apple cider, light snacks, etc.) will be provided  

          ~ Handicap accessible bathrooms will be available in the YMCA facility. Please enter through side door near ramp. 

         ~ The YMCA facility will be open to Turkey Trot participants only from 6:30-10:00 AM. *showers & other facilities will not be available aside from bathrooms.

Check In:  Check in will open the morning of at 6:30 AM in our main lobby. Please have your QR code ready from your registration confirmation for all people in your party! 

Water Stops: 

• 1 water stop will be available near the 1.5 mile mark. Feel free to fill water bottles as needed. Cups & trash will be provided. 

PIE LIST HERE

• All pies must be claimed by 7:50 AM before the trot. All unclaimed pies will be up or grabs after the trot on a first-come come first-served basis.

Post Trot: 

• After the Turkey Trot, please feel free to enjoy light refreshments. After all, we can't stuff you before dinner!
