Cal Tri Events is pleased to announce the addition of 2021 Cal Tri DC - 9.12.21 to the recent national expansion.

2021 CAL TRI DC - 9.12.21 is located 30 miles south of Washington DC in General Smallwood State Park in Charles County, Maryland.  This is a great race to plan a tri-cation around so you can participate in a great race take in all the monuments and museums including the US Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, National Museum of African American History and Culture, National Mall & Veterans Memorials, National Air & Space Museum, National Gallery of Art, National Zoo, National Museum of American History, Jefferson Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery and many, many more.

RACE COURSE.  Sprint athletes swim 400 yards in the Mattawoman Creek followed by a rolling, 16.5 mile bike course with 580’ of elevation capped off with a fast 5K run.  Olympic athletes swim 1640 yards followed by a rolling, 25 mile bike course with 950’ of elevation that ends with a 10K run.  The 5K/10K run course is completely enclosed within the confines of General Smallwood State Park to enhance athlete safety.

RACE OPTIONS.  Olympic Distance (Triathlon, Triathlon Relay, SwimBike, SwimRun, 1640 Yard Swim & 10K Run) and Sprint Distance (Triathlon, Triathlon Relay, Swim Bike, SwimRun, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run).  There is something for everyone!
